Browserbase Is Great — But You Might Not Need It

When to Use Browserbase

To be fair: there are cases where Browserbase is clearly the right tool.

If you're building a multi-tenant SaaS that browses the web on behalf of many end users who don't have accounts on the target sites — Browserbase is the right call. Same if you need genuinely anonymous sessions (price aggregation, competitive research, public data collection at scale), or if you need per-session isolation for a product with many simultaneous users. For those cases, managed cloud browser infrastructure is the right abstraction, and Browserbase does it well.
